Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 04 September 2026
Welcome to Medna.Shop.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of www.medna.shop (the “Website”), purchases of products and bookings for workshops made through the Website.
Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order or booking a workshop.
By using the Website, placing an order or booking a workshop, you agree to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable Maltese or European Union law.
1. Who We Are
The Website is operated by:
Lexa Limited
103 Strait Street
Valletta, VLT 1436
Malta
Company registration number: C 76762
Trading name / brand: Medna.Shop
Website: www.medna.shop
Email: info@medna.shop
Telephone: +356 999-99032
In these Terms, “Medna.Shop”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lexa Limited.
“You”, “customer” or “participant” means the person using the Website, purchasing products or booking a workshop.
2. About These Terms
These Terms apply to:
- purchases of physical products;
- custom and private-label products;
- online one-to-one workshops;
- online group workshops;
- payments;
- shipping and delivery;
- cancellations;
- returns and refunds; and
- use of the Website.
Information shown on an individual product or workshop page, including its description, price, availability, duration and any specific conditions, forms part of the information provided to you before purchase.
Where a specific product or workshop has additional conditions clearly communicated before purchase, those conditions will also apply.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific condition clearly presented to you before purchase, the specific condition will apply to the extent of that conflict.
3. Using the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and responsibly.
You must not:
- use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Website;
- introduce malicious software or harmful code;
- misuse another person's account or personal information;
- copy or reproduce Website content without permission; or
- use the Website in a way that could damage Medna.Shop, our customers or our service providers.
We may restrict or suspend access to the Website where reasonably necessary for security, legal or operational reasons.
4. Products and Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on the Website are accurate and up to date.
Reasonable differences may occur, including:
- colours appearing differently depending on your screen;
- packaging being updated;
- minor differences between photographs and the actual product;
- reasonable variations in dimensions; and
- natural variations in handmade or naturally produced products.
Where products are handmade or made using natural ingredients, variations in colour, texture, scent, appearance or consistency may occur.
Such natural variations do not necessarily mean that a product is defective or does not conform to its description.
Product-specific ingredients, instructions, warnings, allergens and storage requirements should always be reviewed before use.
5. Custom and Private-Label Soap Products
Medna.Shop may offer custom, bespoke and private-label soap products made according to a customer's specifications.
Depending on the service offered, customers may be able to customise soaps using:
- essential oils offered on the Website;
- botanical ingredients offered on the Website;
- kaolin clays offered on the Website;
- other ingredients offered by Medna.Shop; or
- ingredients supplied by the customer and approved by Medna.Shop.
Custom soaps may be made according to an agreed combination of ingredients, formulation, scent, colour, botanical content, clay or other specifications.
Customer-Supplied Ingredients
If you wish to provide your own ingredients, you must contact us and obtain our approval before sending them.
We may refuse an ingredient if we consider it unsuitable, unsafe, unidentified, incompatible with the formulation or not appropriate for use in a cosmetic product.
We may ask for information about an ingredient before agreeing to use it.
We may also recommend an alternative ingredient or adjust a formulation where necessary for safety, quality or regulatory reasons.
Custom Pricing
The price of a custom or private-label soap is calculated individually.
The price may include:
- ingredients;
- formulation and development;
- soap-making and production fees;
- customisation or private-label requirements;
- packaging;
- labelling, where applicable;
- curing and preparation requirements; and
- shipping.
The final price will be agreed with you before production begins.
Curing and Production Time
Custom soaps may require a curing or maturation period before they are ready for dispatch.
The curing time will be taken into account when estimating the production and delivery time.
The final timeframe may depend on:
- the agreed formulation;
- availability of ingredients;
- production time;
- curing time;
- packaging;
- labelling; and
- shipping.
Custom products may therefore take longer to prepare and deliver than standard products.
Custom Product Approval
Where appropriate, we may provide the customer with the agreed formulation, ingredient list, specifications or other details before production.
Production will normally begin once the customer has approved the agreed specifications and price and any required payment has been received.
Custom Products and Returns
Because custom and private-label soaps are made according to a customer's specifications or are clearly personalised, the statutory right of withdrawal that normally applies to online purchases may not apply to these products.
This does not affect your statutory rights if a custom product is defective, unsafe or does not conform to the agreed specifications or applicable law.
Further information about returns and refunds is provided in our Returns & Refund Policy.
6. Natural Cosmetics and Personal-Care Products
Some products sold through Medna.Shop may be intended for use on the skin or body.
Please read the product description, ingredients, instructions and warnings before using any product.
If you have allergies, sensitivities or other concerns about an ingredient, you should carefully review the ingredients before purchase or use and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Medna.Shop does not represent that a product is suitable for every individual or skin type.
If you experience an adverse reaction, discontinue use and seek appropriate medical advice where necessary.
7. Food Products
Some products or workshops offered by Medna.Shop may involve food, naturally preserved foods, fermentation or food preparation.
Food products must be stored, handled and consumed in accordance with the instructions provided with the product.
Where a product is perishable or otherwise subject to a statutory exception from the right of withdrawal, the applicable information will be provided where required.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights concerning food products that are defective, unsafe or do not conform to the contract.
8. Nutritional and Food Supplements
Medna.Shop may offer nutritional and food supplements.
Some supplements offered by Medna.Shop are manufactured in the United Kingdom and fulfilled domestically within the United Kingdom.
These products are currently offered for UK domestic delivery.
For wholesale, trade or larger-quantity orders, export from the United Kingdom may be arranged separately. Such arrangements may be subject to additional shipping, customs, import, tax and regulatory requirements, which will be agreed with the customer before the order is completed.
Food supplements are food products and are not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Customers should always read the product label, ingredients, recommended daily intake, warnings and other product information before using a supplement.
The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication, have a medical condition, have known allergies or sensitivities, or have other health concerns, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before using a food supplement.
Supplements should be stored according to the instructions provided with the product and kept out of the reach and sight of young children.
Information provided on Medna.Shop about nutritional supplements is for general product information and does not constitute medical advice.
Any nutrition or health claims made in connection with supplements are intended to comply with applicable European Union and Maltese legislation.
Medna.Shop does not represent that any supplement will diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a disease or medical condition.
9. Products Supplied from Outside the European Union
Some products offered by Medna.Shop may be manufactured or produced outside the European Union and may be supplied directly from their country of origin.
For example, certain Nablus soap products may be supplied directly from Palestine.
Where a product is supplied directly from outside the European Union, delivery may take longer than standard deliveries because of customs clearance, import procedures, border controls, transportation arrangements or other circumstances associated with international shipments.
The applicable delivery arrangements and any relevant information concerning customs, import requirements or additional charges will be provided where applicable before purchase.
Customers should be aware that products entering the European Union from outside the EU may be subject to customs and import procedures.
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights applicable to the purchase.
10. Prices
Prices displayed on the Website are shown in the currency stated at checkout.
Where applicable, prices include VAT and other taxes required by law.
Any applicable shipping or delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.
We may change prices from time to time.
A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted by us.
If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we reserve the right to correct the error.
If an affected order has already been paid for, we will contact you and provide an appropriate solution, including a refund where required.
11. Product and Workshop Availability
Products and workshops are subject to availability.
We may limit quantities or decline an order or booking where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- a workshop has reached capacity;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- a technical error has affected the Website;
- we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent fulfilment.
If we cannot fulfil an order or booking that you have already paid for, we will inform you and provide an appropriate refund where required.
12. Placing an Order
When you place an order through the Website, you are submitting an order to purchase the selected products.
After placing an order, you will normally receive an order acknowledgement or confirmation by email.
The order confirmation will provide the relevant details of your purchase.
If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and refund any amount paid for the affected order or product where required.
13. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and/or other payment services made available through our Shopify checkout.
The payment methods available to you will be displayed during checkout and may vary depending on your location, currency, device and other factors.
Third-party payment providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not normally store complete payment-card details.
An order or booking will generally be processed once payment has been successfully authorised or confirmed.
14. Shipping and Delivery
Medna.Shop operates with a fulfilment network that includes multiple warehouses located across the European Union and the United Kingdom.
The warehouse used to fulfil an order may depend on:
- product availability;
- stock location;
- destination;
- fulfilment requirements; and
- logistics arrangements.
An order containing multiple products may therefore be fulfilled from more than one warehouse.
For full information about shipping methods, delivery times, shipping charges and fulfilment arrangements, please see our Shipping Policy.
15. Multiple Parcels and Split Shipments
Because we operate with multiple fulfilment locations, items from the same order may be shipped separately.
An order containing multiple products may therefore:
- be dispatched from different warehouses;
- have more than one tracking number;
- arrive in separate parcels; and
- arrive at different times.
Receiving one parcel before another does not necessarily mean that an item is missing from your order.
You may receive separate shipping confirmations or tracking information for different parcels.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, splitting an order into multiple parcels does not automatically create an additional shipping charge.
Please see our Shipping Policy for further information.
16. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an order cannot be delivered because of incorrect or incomplete information provided by you, we may contact you to arrange redelivery.
Where additional delivery costs are incurred because incorrect or incomplete information was provided by you, those costs may be payable by you to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Please see our Shipping Policy for further information.
17. Returns and Refunds
Our procedures for returns, refunds and cancellations are set out in our Returns & Refund Policy.
The Returns & Refund Policy explains:
- how to request a return;
- how to exercise your right of withdrawal where applicable;
- which return costs apply;
- how refunds are processed;
- how faulty or damaged products are handled; and
- any statutory exceptions that may apply.
Nothing in our Returns & Refund Policy or these Terms limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights.
18. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable EU or Maltese consumer law provides a statutory right of withdrawal for an online purchase, consumers generally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins when you, or a person designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
Where multiple goods forming one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when you receive the last good.
For services, the withdrawal period generally runs from the date the contract is concluded, subject to applicable exceptions.
There are statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal.
These may include:
- goods that deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- goods made according to a customer's specifications or clearly personalised; and
- certain services that have been fully performed following the consumer's express request and acknowledgement where required by law.
The applicable exceptions will be addressed in our Returns & Refund Policy and, where relevant, on the product or service page before purchase.
19. Returns & Refund Policy
For complete information about exercising your right of withdrawal, returning goods and receiving refunds, please see our Returns & Refund Policy.
You do not need to use a particular form to exercise a statutory right of withdrawal.
Where applicable, you may communicate your decision clearly by email or another appropriate method as described in our Returns & Refund Policy.
The Returns & Refund Policy contains the practical instructions for returns and refunds and, where appropriate, the model withdrawal form.
20. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
- faulty;
- damaged;
- materially different from its description; or
- not the product you ordered,
please contact us at info@medna.shop.
Please include your order number and, where useful, photographs or other information showing the issue.
Your statutory consumer rights remain fully protected.
Where a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.
This may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable legal requirements.
For practical instructions, please see our Returns & Refund Policy.
21. Workshops
Medna.Shop offers online educational workshops, including:
- one-to-one workshops; and
- group workshops.
Workshops may cover subjects including:
- soap making;
- natural cosmetics making;
- naturally preserved foods;
- fermentation; and
- related natural making techniques.
The individual workshop page will provide the relevant information, including the subject, format, duration, date or time where applicable, price and any materials or equipment you may need.
By booking a workshop, you agree to follow the instructor's reasonable instructions and participate responsibly.
22. Workshop Requirements and Safety
Some workshops may involve ingredients, equipment or processes that require appropriate care.
These may include:
- heat;
- hot liquids;
- oils;
- essential oils;
- fragrances;
- caustic ingredients;
- food preparation;
- fermentation;
- preservation techniques; or
- other materials requiring safe handling.
Participants must follow the safety instructions provided during the workshop.
If you have allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions or other relevant requirements, please inform us before the workshop where appropriate.
If you are unsure whether a particular workshop or activity is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate professional advice before participating.
23. Workshop Materials
Where materials are included in the workshop price, this will be stated in the workshop description.
Where participants need to provide their own ingredients, equipment or materials, this will be communicated before the workshop where reasonably practicable.
Workshop recipes, instructions, presentations and other educational materials are provided for your personal educational use unless we expressly state otherwise.
You may not reproduce, sell, commercially distribute or publish our workshop materials without our prior written permission.
24. Workshop Cancellation and Rescheduling
The cancellation and rescheduling conditions applicable to a particular workshop will be communicated on the relevant workshop page or during the booking process.
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:
- rescheduling;
- transfer to another available workshop;
- credit; or
- a refund.
Where a statutory consumer right applies, nothing in our workshop cancellation conditions limits that right.
Certain statutory exceptions may apply to services, including certain services performed on a specific date or period and services that have been fully performed following the consumer's express request and acknowledgement where required by law.
25. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Medna.Shop
We may need to cancel or reschedule a workshop because of circumstances such as:
- instructor illness;
- technical problems;
- insufficient bookings;
- safety concerns; or
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel a workshop for which you have already paid, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include rescheduling, a replacement workshop, credit or a refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
26. Intellectual Property
The Website and its content, including:
- text;
- photographs;
- graphics;
- logos;
- illustrations;

You may use the Website and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publish, sell, license or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.

This includes unauthorised:
- video recordings;
- audio recordings;

- distribution of workshop materials.
If Medna.Shop records a workshop for a legitimate purpose, participants will be informed where required by applicable law.
28. Reviews and Customer Content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content to Medna.Shop, you confirm that you have the right to provide that content and that it does not infringe another person's rights.
You should not include another person's personal information in content submitted to us without their permission.
Where you submit content for publication, you grant Medna.Shop a non-exclusive right to use that content for legitimate business and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law.
You may contact us if you have concerns about the use of content you have submitted.
29. Website Availability
We aim to keep the Website available and functioning properly, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of:
- maintenance;
- technical problems;
- software updates;
- hosting problems;
- security measures;
- internet or telecommunications failures; or
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this section affects your rights concerning an order or service you have already purchased.
30. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to those rights, Medna.Shop is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including failures of third-party delivery services, payment providers, communication networks or online platforms.
This does not affect our legal responsibility for products that are defective, unsafe or do not conform to the contract.
31. Privacy and Cookies

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have access to consumer-protection and dispute-resolution mechanisms available in your country of residence.
You may also contact the relevant consumer-protection authority or European Consumer Centre where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising any mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer law.
35. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta.
If you are a consumer residing in another European Union Member State, this does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to your contract under the laws applicable to your country of residence.

Where legally permitted, the courts of Malta shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
However, if you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence where provided by applicable consumer law.
