We are becoming more conscious about what we put on our skin. We read labels, look closely at ingredients and pay more attention to how the products we use fit into our overall wellbeing and the impact they may have on the environment, beyond the beauty benefits they offer.
That is where the idea for the new Medna Skincare Collection began.
We wanted to create a range for people who care about ingredients and take a more conscious approach to their beauty choices. The collection brings together carefully selected cosmetic ingredients, natural and organic formulations, clean-label beauty, responsible sourcing and European manufacturing, with products created for different skin needs and routines.
Ingredients with a purpose
The Medna collection includes formulas featuring some of the most recognised ingredients in modern skincare, including hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, ceramides, bakuchiol, salicylic acid and glycolic acid, alongside botanical extracts, plant oils and other carefully selected ingredients.
Each ingredient has its own role in cosmetic formulations. Hyaluronic acid is widely used in products designed to hydrate and maintain the skin's moisture levels. Niacinamide is popular in formulations aimed at maintaining a balanced, healthy-looking complexion, while vitamin C is widely used in brightening and antioxidant-focused skincare. Ceramides are commonly included in products designed to support the skin barrier, while salicylic acid and glycolic acid are used in targeted formulations for concerns such as the appearance of blemishes, uneven texture and dull-looking skin.
This ingredient-led approach gives the collection a modern feel while still leaving room for the natural ingredients many people actively look for in their beauty products.
The Medna range includes natural and organic formulations, with selected products carrying COSMOS Natural or COSMOS Organic certification by ECOCERT. These recognised standards provide clear requirements for certified natural and organic cosmetics and give customers another way to identify products that meet those criteria.
We have also selected vegan options across the range, and the Medna skincare collection is cruelty-free, reflecting the growing preference for beauty products that consider both ingredients and ethical choices.
More than what is inside the bottle
For us, a considered beauty range also means looking beyond the ingredient list.
The Medna skincare collection is manufactured in Europe in an ISO 22716:2007 certified facility, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics. This standard covers important aspects of cosmetic production, including hygiene, quality control, production processes and storage. The products also undergo appropriate quality checks to help ensure their safety, stability and consistency.
Skincare for different skin, different routines and different choices
There is no single way to build a skincare routine.
Some people want a simple cleanser, serum and moisturiser. Others enjoy a more complete routine and like to choose products around particular concerns, ingredients or textures.
